Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Karan Mundhra, an individual operating as This & That, based in India ("we", "us"). They cover your use of This & That at https://thisandthat.care. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What This & That does

You record work you hand out to people. We remind those people until you confirm the work is done.

You are the Giver. The people you hand work to are Doers. Doers do not have accounts. Only you can close a task.

Reminders go by Telegram or email, only to people who accepted your invite themselves. You can also get a morning brief, an alert when someone says a task is done, and reminders before meetings from a calendar you connect.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
  • Give accurate sign-in details and keep them secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at contact@thisandthat.care if you think someone else has used your account.

3. The people you add

When you add a Doer you give us their name and contact details. You confirm that:

  • You have a lawful reason to share those details with us.
  • The work you record is real work you have handed to them.
  • You will not use This & That to harass, threaten or pressure anyone.

We only message a Doer after they accept an invite themselves. A Doer can reply STOP at any time. After that we never message them again, and you cannot switch it back on. See If we message you.

4. Links without a login

Messages contain links that work without signing in: a page where the person can mark work done or stop messages, and a page where you can confirm or reopen a task. Anyone holding such a link can use it until it expires. Do not forward them.

5. What you must not do

  • Break any law, including laws on privacy, spam and electronic messages.
  • Upload anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that you have no right to share.
  • Try to get into accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or disrupt the service.
  • Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or scrape it with automated tools.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we tell you first.

6. Your content

Tasks, comments and imports you add stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run the service for you. We do not sell them.

7. Price

This & That is free while it is in this early stage. Before any paid plan applies to you, we will show the price and ask you to agree. See Cancellations and refunds.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may change features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you and ask you to accept the new version before you continue.

9. Liability

We provide the service as it is. This & That sends reminders. It does not guarantee that anyone will do the work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by what a Doer does or does not do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account. That removes your workspace, the people you added, and your tasks. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first at contact@thisandthat.care so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, courts in India have jurisdiction.
